I chose the cutesy, flowery background because dating, as a single mom, at my age (mid 30's) is anything but cute and flowery.
At this point in life - most men are ruined. I mostly blame women for that. I am convinced that it only takes one bad woman to completely RUIN a man for the rest of his natural life. It's as though men come pre-equipped with this little switch inside them that says "sexist pig" and it only takes one woman breaking their heart in order to permanently flip that switch. I also have to partially blame men, however.... they have the choice to flip it back, but for whatever reason, they just don't.
